The Little Harvester, where our version of ‘farm life’ involves more crafting than actual farming, and we’re totally okay with that! We’re all about embracing the chaos of life, whether it’s semi-homemade recipes (because who has time for scratch?), rustic decor that’s 50% twine and 50% “found in the garage,” or kid crafts that somehow always involve glitter—lots of glitter.
Here, we believe that life is better with a little mess, a lot of laughs, and a luke warm coffee, realistically cold and not by choice, in hand. So, if you love transforming your home with cozy farmhouse charm, cooking meals that look homemade (no judgment if they’re not), and creating crafts that are more fun than functional, you’re in the right place!
Pull up a chair (just brush off the crumbs), grab a glue gun, and join us on this wild, rustic ride. From our family to yours, welcome to The Little Harvester—where things are perfectly imperfect, and that’s just how we like it.

Farm-Inspired Photography
(Capture the Charm!)
For me, it’s taking portrait shots of our toddlers around the farm. It’s like a high-stakes game of hide-and-seek, but with more mud and fewer photos in focus. One minute, they’re smiling like a tiny angel in front of the perfect rustic barn backdrop; the next, they’re chasing chickens and somehow missing a shoe. You’ll get a beautiful shot of the back of their head as they sprint into the cornfield and maybe a blurry close-up of their nose. But hey, who needs a perfectly posed photo when you’ve got a gallery of candid moments that scream “toddler on the loose?”

Obsessed with theme creation, whether it’s a gift, décor, recipes, or snapping pictures of our little cuties in various natural backdrops around our family farm, I thrive off creating future keepsakes for those to cherish.
So, Let’s Get Real…
Ironically, I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality where I worked in a variety of subsets within the industry creating memorable events and experiences for others. From overseeing Sales and Marketing to Food and Beverage, Event and Wedding Planning to Hotel Operations and Construction. I have always thrived off the fast-paced atmosphere and the ever-changing environment, which always keeps things exciting. The travel, the people, and yes, the stories that I could tell are endless. But, to be frank, it was hard to sustain. An hour and twenty-minute commute to and from work each day, long hours, endless coffee cups, sleepless weekends, nights, and holidays. It was a lot. You are missing family events, catching up with friends, and putting your life on hold creating unforgettable experiences for others. Don’t get me wrong, I thrived off the adrenaline rush of constructing memorable moments for clients, but I also wanted to create some of those lasting impressions for me.
So, let’s get real, my husband and I of 15 years, bought a farm, through a sheriff sale, to eventually build our dream home. This is also the special place where my hubby started a business growing and harvesting crops, specifically corn and soybeans to sell to the grain mills. When I am not on the farm, helping my husband with his so called “side hustle” (there is no such thing as a side hustle in farming by the way😊), then I am juggling two adventurous toddlers, a Basset named Harold, ducks, chickens, and everything in between.
I will try just about anything once. From raising chickens, incubating duck eggs to bailing hay and bottle-feeding calves. One thing is for certain, I will always try to go below the surface and take a deep dive into experiences that can create meaningful conversation because all those little moments can make life so extraordinary.
