Crockpot Pulled Pork

The set-it-and-forget-it hero, your busy week didn’t know it needed!

This pulled pork tenderloin is what happens when your crockpot takes over dinner like a boss. Toss everything in before work, and by the time you get home, it’s as if a barbecue pitmaster spent the day in your kitchen (without stealing your WiFi). Juicy, smoky, and smothered in sauce—this recipe is guaranteed to make you the family favorite… or at least until dessert.

Ingredients:

  • Ingredients:
  • 2 lbs pork tenderloin
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite kind!)
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Pork. In a small bowl, mix the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Rub the spice mixture all over the pork tenderloin.
  2. Load the Crockpot. Place the pork tenderloin in the crockpot. Pour in the barbecue sauce, chicken broth, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir lightly to combine the liquids.
  3. Cook Low and Slow. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours, until the pork is tender and easily pulls apart with a fork.
  4. Shred and Serve. Remove the pork from the crockpot and shred it with two forks. Return the shredded pork to the crockpot and stir to coat it in the sauce. Serve on buns, over rice, mashed potatoes, or alongside coleslaw. The possibilities are endless.

Optional Add-ins/Add-ons:

  • Turned leftovers into pulled pork tacos for another quick meal for a busy week or a whole new spin on a rustic salad protein option.
