BBQ pulled pork so good, you’ll wonder why you ever bothered with a grill.
Set it, forget it, and let the crockpot do its thing—because spending hours in the kitchen is overrated. This pulled pork is so tender, it practically shreds itself… unlike our nerves after a day with the toddlers
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs pork tenderloin
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup BBQ sauce (plus extra for serving)
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Burger buns or slider rolls for serving (optional)
- Coleslaw (optional)
Instructions:
- Layer the Flavors: Place sliced onion and minced garlic at the bottom of the crockpot. Season the pork tenderloin with smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper, then place it on top.
- Saucy Business: Pour BBQ sauce and chicken broth over the pork. Sprinkle in the brown sugar.
- Set It and Forget It: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours, until the pork is tender and easily shredded.
- Shred It Up: Use two forks to pull the pork apart. Stir it into the juices and let it soak up all the goodness.
- Serve: Pile onto buns, top with extra BBQ sauce and coleslaw if desired, and dig in!
